‘mindful birth’ hypnobirthing and birth preparation
Hypnobirthing group classes in central Bristol
£295 per birth team (up to two birth partners)
Groups offer a fun dynamic to learning, they’re interactive (but not too interactive!!) and they’re a great opportunity to create connections and friendships with others to support each other through the journey of pregnancy and parenthood.
Groups are kept small (up to 5 couples) to ensure a personal and comfortable environment.
Check below for more information on the group classes and for upcoming dates.
Whether you birth your baby at hospital, in theatre, at a birth centre or in your home, learning hypnobirthing with me will bring a calmness to your life and allow you to gain a feeling of empowerment during pregnancy, birth and beyond.
The techniques which you will learn in my hypnobirthing classes will give you the confidence to make decisions that feel right for you and your baby. You will be well informed about your options and choices for your maternity care plan and you will gain the ability to calm and refocus your mind giving you a more enjoyable experience of pregnancy, birth and your postnatal time.
Hypnobirthing can help in all birth scenarios by giving you:
a shorter, more comfortable labour
fewer medical interventions
techniques to feel more relaxed
tools to keep in control of your birth space and your choices
ability to cope with the unexpected
a calmer you and therefore a calmer baby
I offer group classes in Bristol which are a unique combination of hypnobirthing and mindfulness and will allow you to create a powerful mind-body connection and a feeling of positivity and control.
You will learn birth physiology and psychology, how to turn fear and anxiety into positive affirmations, how to use breathing techniques and visualisations to enter a deep sense of relaxation, and much more.
Walking alongside and nurturing women and pregnant people through birth is a deeply rewarding job and one that I put my heart and soul into. I believe my experiences of hypnobirthing, the support I’ve offered as a doula, and my years of training and constant learning, allow me to provide support which is unlike other hypnobirthing classes.
As well as group classes in Bristol I also offer private hypnobirthing classes, if you prefer a 1:1 course with me in the comfort of your own home.
included in your group course:
8 hours of in-person teaching (including comprehensive information on birth, postnatal recovery, baby care in the early days and feeding information)
An additional private ‘power hour’ as you reach your due time to go over anything
A Mindful Birth Group® course workbook
6 Mindful Birth Group® MP3 hypnosis audios to download
A copy of ‘Why postnatal recovery matters’ by Sophie Messenger

Continued support from me via phone, whatsapp and email until your baby arrives - it’s like having a virtual doula in your back pocket!
